But if they do take it, and you had the choice of getting even in the worst way without anyone knowing, would you do it? Most people would say… Yeah. But we’re not most people.
I’m Renée, the second oldest of four girls. We were born in Georgia but raised in New Orleans during the summers. This is where my two younger sisters, Leah, Tiffany, and I learned about our heritage.
I’m from a different family of women. At the age of 13 we come into unique gifts, or some may say a curse. But we still have to stand before God on judgment day like everyone else, the only difference is, we may have to answer for little bit more. This is another family story.

Although Renee, Leah and Tiffany were born in Georgia, their family roots were planted in New Orleans where the Creole cuisine fills your soul, the swamps run deep with blood and voodoo is a religion to some.
At the age of thirteen, Renee’s life is forever changed as well as her sister’s. Family secrets are revealed: broken friendships, sexual assault and even murder all while testing the family’s faith in God. But her family has something that others don’t have… a chance to get even in the worst way and no one would ever know.

Author Description
Ingrid Crayton is an emerging Young Adult Author, Wife, and Mother whose compassion, creativity, and courage have all earned her a reputation as a gamer changer. A ten-year Breast Cancer Survivor, she started reading supernatural novels during cancer treatments, which served as the perfect escape. Deeply imaginative as a child, she ultimately decided to harness that innate ingenuity to write fantasy stories herself, in hopes of creating unique worlds her readers can escape to themselves.
What also drove and continues to drive Ingrid’s passion are the resilient women behind magical stories. This life may have countless ups and downs but these women still dare to reinvent themselves. To her, female writers, producers and directors aren’t simply homemakers, single parents, or working women, they are warriors. Through the power of words, Ingrid strives to pave the way for the up-and-coming generation of fellow game changers.
